I am Italian and British and I have been teaching Italian as a Foreign Language since 2001 when I moved to England. After graduating in Modern Languages at the University of Palermo, I decided it was the right time to leave Sicily and to see more of the world. By chance, life brought me to the beautiful Roman city of Bath where I fell in love with my first job: teaching Italian as a foreign language. I lectured at the Bath University for 11 years until 2012 when I decided to move to London first and eventually to Cambridge.
In 2005 I completed a Master's degree in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language at the University of Venice and a few years later I was awarded the Qualified Teacher Status by the General Teaching Council for England. I taught Italian and Spanish in some Secondary Schools in England for almost sixteen years (at the Royal High School in Bath and the Stephen Perse Foundation in Cambridge) supporting my students (from Year 7 to Year 13) to achieve their GCSE, IGCSE, A Level and IB certificates successfully. In 2010 I qualified as on line Tutor at Università per stranieri di Perugia.
Recently I have moved back to Italy and I am teaching on line. In planning my lessons I include a wide range of IT resources and tools to deliver interesting and enjoyable lessons. I am a truly passionate teacher and I enjoy my job immensely.
That's all for now!
